Has anyone ever come
into your life unexpectedly? Made your life better? Or Make you open your eyes
to things much bigger in life?
January 20, 2011 is when
Tommie Mims came into my life. Most people would say it wasn't a coincidence.
The chance of me getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas then downloading the app
then randomly meeting him really wasn't a coincidence at all. I realized that
day that this person was supposed to come into my life for a reason whether
good or bad.
I met Tommie on an app
on my Kindle Fire called Instant Friends. The funny thing is we did become
instant friends. I met him online. Now I know what most of you might think,
"You met this guy online. He could have been a pervert or a serial
killer."
In a matter of hours I
realized he wasn't a serial killer or pervert, but I did think he was a girl at
first though. His name that came up on Instant Friends was AbssyLight and for
some reason that registered in my mind as Alyssa or some girl's name similar to
that.
So for a week I thought
he was a girl, and I have to admit during that week I was thinking, "Oh she is cool, and she can talk to
me about how I can do my hair. Awesome!”
When he told me he was a
boy I immediately felt embarrassed and started laughing. There goes the idea of
him trying to help me with my hair, but he was still cool.
For the next few days I
kept picturing what he looked liked. I kept thinking he was sexy from his
personality and description of himself he gave me. A week later I realized my
thought was right. He sent me a picture of himself and I thought he was sexy
and I still do. Now he will deny it ,but ladies he so is.
After
weeks of talking to him I started having feelings for him. He would try to
motivate me and out stubborn me.
Tommie and I came up
with the nicknames Princess and King because according to him he was stubborn
then I was and I was younger than him.; making me the princes. (I am more stubborn than he is though).
We also came up with the idea that he has a black and red crown and I have a
pink one. I tell him constantly that one day I will take his crown and rule
over him. (I so will).
I haven't ever met him
in person yet, but I once in a while picture it. I picture him walking up to me
and giving me a hug. Then we sit down at a bench somewhere.
While we are sitting I
say to him, "you know King I have been thinking about what I would say to
you for a while and this is it: 1. Pink rules, 2. I will steal your crown, 3. Your sexy and
I know it. Then I’d pinch him ,and
mess up his hair then quickly run before he can catch me. (If he reads this he
will probably think he will bite me before I can ever do any of that, but he so
won't ). When I
do meet him I know it will be awesome.
I haven't known him for
a year, but it feels like I have. I have learned a lot from him,
like I shouldn't care what people think of me, that I should never give up on
myself or what I believe in, and much more. I have learned a lot from him and I
am still learning, but I know that after attempting to push him away so many
times he is definitely here to stay.
He isn't perfect, but he
is different. I will always care and love him, but after writing this I will
try my best to stop pushing him away. Tommie came into my life for a good
reason and I believe that was to help me and make my life better in his own
little way.
I just hope I can make a
tiny difference in his life. He will always be my King, but one day I will take
his crown and he should be prepared.
Please comment and give me your feedback! :)
